Kotetsu Uchiha V.S. Hiro Aburame [Complete]

Appearance: Wearing a black trench coat, and a mask that obscures everything but his mouth. Over his eyes is a metal plate with the leaf village symbol.

As the two genin walk into the arena, the Jonin supervising the fight drops a white cloth after allowing them to form the seal of confrontation.

Hiro, despite his eyes being completely covered by the metal protector bolted over his eyes, seems to be staring directly at the Uchiha. He begins to take a step forward, becoming obscured by a swarm of bugs as dark as ink. As he walks through it his body moves slower as if it's traveling through mud. When the swarm dissipates there are two Hiros standing in front of the Uchiha.

After performing the seal of confrontation, Kotetsu waits allowing his opponent to make the first move. He who is prudent and lies in wait for an enemy who is not, will be victorious. He thought to himself as he watched bugs engulf the approaching opponent, then create a clone of him. "So a bug user, huh?" The boy uttered to himself under his breath. What would work the most efficiently against him? Kotetsu questioned himself very briefly before coming up with an idea to test the boys reactions. So he blinked and upon opening them, his Double Tomoe Sharingan flashed a bloody red. After doing so the boy removed two shuriken and threw one at each of the Hiro's since his Sharingan couldn't tell them apart. The shuriken were slightly off target of being aimed dead center at them. Instead the were aimed more towards the outside of the two in an attempt to force them closer together.

Both of the Aburame ran forwards, sliding on their knees below the shuriken. As they rolled on the ground to get back into a standing position, a swarm of bugs began to collect between the two of them making it difficult to tell which Hiro was real and manipulating the technique. However with the observational power of the sharingan, a slight distinction was noticeable between the two bodies as the one on the left seemed to have a twitch on the corner of his mouth. The swarm of insects between the two duplicates had grown to the size of a football before soaring towards the Uchiha at a rather lazy pace.

Kotetsu observed the two Hiro's easily dodging the shuriken by simply sliding under them. He must have some sense of intelligence, seeing as most would took the easy way out and side step.  He assumed as he tried to take in every detail of the two clones. It wasn't until, the swarm of insects spawned between the two, that Kotetsu was able to distinguish the two. He figured the one on the left was the real one due to the miniscule twitch in the face, and due to the fact that a clone of a genins caliber wouldn't be so detailed. As the football sized swarm of insects slowly came in his direction, Kotetsu weaved a set of handsigns before expelling a stream of fire from his mouth from using the Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet in order to burn up the ball of insects. Which he then quickly followed up by throwing his two Kunai attached to paper bombs at the real Hiro, which in turn were concealed briefly by the stream of fire.

The Hiro on the left stepped forward into the kunai, exploding into a cloud of insect corpses. The real Hiro was as emotionless and stoic as ever, even as he flung his own two kunai with explosive tags at the Uchiha. Following these fast moving projectiles he fired another slow swarm of insects.

The Kunai seemed to easily catch Kotetsu off guard, or so it seemed. Since upon them striking the genin, his form exploded into a cloud of smoke and splintering shrapnel because he used the substitution justu. The real Uchiha seemed to be no where in sight, as a group of leaves began to rustle and swirl around the aburame Clan shinobi obscuring his vision temporarily before falling back to the ground. Kotetsu was using his Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique. He figured one of the shinobi's worst fear was that of his bugs turning on and devouring his body.

The swarm of insects swung around at the Uchiha after he used his substitution. The Aburame was seemingly unaffected by the vision based genjutsu thanks to the fact he was effectively blind, and relied on his insects to see. Once again he fired a football sized swarm at Kotetsu, insects coming at him from the front and back.

The instant he attempted the genjutsu, Kotetsu knew it was a failure, seeing as he sensed no irregularities in his opponents chakara flow. So instead of his attack succeeding, he was now facing attacks on two fronts. One from in front while the other from behind. Even though the bugs moved at such a slow and lazy pace, Kotetsu figured it best to keep his distance as well as minimize since he was unaware of the full extent of their abilities, nor how many his opponent possessed. I will never win at this rate. The only logical thing to do is to expose myself by taking the fight closer. His first priority was to remove any obstacles between him and the target. So he weaved a set of handsigns and performed Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet again. Which spewed just enough fire to destroy one swarm of bugs before darting headlong at the aburame Clan member. Then in an attempt to confuse the simple minded bugs behind him as well as the genin, Kotetsu swiftly performed the four handsigns of tiger, boar, ox, then dog. Which allowed him to perform the Clone Technique, and in return two clones seemed to step out of him and run in a weaving pattern at the boy. Upon arriving directly in front of the opposing genin, the one in the middle and the one on the right vanish in a small puff of smoke. While the real one on the left, presses down on the hilt of his Ryū no shippo, aiming it at a 135° angle, while simultaneously pressing the button. In a fluid motion the blade begins to skim through the handle and if Kotetsu's plan of deception worked, then the right calf muscle of Hiro's would be pierced.

Hiro couldn't react fast enough when his way of seeing was dispersed through flames. The blade dug into his calf, but going through the coat meant the wound was shallow. Bugs poured out of the injury in another football sized swarm heading straight for the uchiha. The aburame grabbed the hilt of the blade, using the fact that it was still inside of his body to create an anchor. He twisted on his right foot, deepening the cut while swinging towards Kotetsu with a kunai.

Kotetsu's attack may have landed, but once again he faced two separate attacks. From here it was near impossible to dodge both of them. So in response, he opted that it best to advance instead of retreat. Sliding his right foot forward to get in closer, Kotetsu throws his right forearm up to block the attack from the Kunai. Deciding to ignore the bugs crawling up the sword, the young genin instead, grips it tighter while pushing down on the hilt and simultaneously bringing up his left knee in attempt to strike Hiro's Solar Plexas. The weight of his body would cause the blade to dig further through the calf while hopefully the knee would further incapacitate the enemy by knocking the air out of his lungs or restrict breathing by breaking some ribs.

As an effect of having the bugs on you, any technique that requires seals cannot be used for two rounds unless you spend a post removing the insects.

Hiro was rooted firmly in place, his expression unreadable thanks to the fact that only his mouth could be seen beneath his featureless mask. He seemingly split in two as a clone started to walk out of his body, blocking the knee before it was forced to disperse. Hiro slapped an explosive tag on the sword's hilt as the blade was rooted in his leg.

Kotetsu was surprised that his opponent was able to block with a clone as well as follow it up by blindlessly putting a paper bomb on the hilt of his dual sliding sword. In response and without hesitation, the young genin released the handle and decide it best to retreat. So Kotetsu leaped backwards while launching his six shuriken at the aburame. They were seemingly aimed for the genin, but in reality he was attempting to strike the paper bomb in order to ignite it. "It was foolish to set yourself up. " The Uchiha mocked as he landed, although his left hand began to burn and itch shortly after. What the hell? The mist genin questioned himself as he looked down at his hand, which was littered with bugs.

The bug clone shields its user taking in all 6 shuriken before dispersing in a mound of bugs that laid out on the ground. Hiro is firmly rooted into the ground by the sword with the explosive tag. He didn't expect Kotetsu to leave behind his weapon.

He tries to remove the sword, but it won't pull out easily. It takes him a little time, but with both hands he forcefully pulls the sword out from underneath him removing it from his leg. With only moments before his own explosive tag detonates he throws the blade away from him, but its too late. It explodes and he significantly blasted.

Kotetsu is unable to visualize where Hiro is at the moment. Although the football sized bug swarm from earlier is locked onto him though and beginning to close in. Meanwhile the bugs on his arm are still eating away at his chakra.

Kotetsu's attention was diverted from Hiro, partially due to the fact that he thought the explosion resulted in a mortal wound. His attention was focused on the bugs, they were the ones from before, but his main focus was that on the bugs that plagued his arm. Feeling his chakara slowly draining away, the genin knew he needed to avoid these bugs at all cost and get them off of him. So in an attempt to kill two birds with one stone, the Uchiha began performing acrobatic flips and rolls. This was to keep a safe distance from the pursuing bug ball, while with each time he planted his hands he slammed them into the ground in attempt to crush or shake some of the bugs off. Also during each of the flips he swatted at his own sleeve and arm in an attempt to knock off the parasitic pests.

Kotetsus' attempts at removing the bugs are successful, but he hasn't managed to escape the bug swarm that begins to close in on him. They surround him completely without any path of escape. Just as they are about to feed on him though, the proctor steps forward and with a hand of molded chakra swipes the bug swarm off. They disperse from the area and as the dust settles, there are three medical nin attending to Hiro Aburame who lies on the ground motionless. Since he had already been defeated via K.O. the proctor is calling it, "The match is over, Kotetsu Sakkaku is the winner!"
