-Village: outskirts of Konoha at the base of Mount Ryu

-Bloodtrait: affinity for dragons; toughened skin and increased elemental power when a fully grown dragon is nearby. When a member of the Takahashi clan becomes a genin he is sent to the peak of Mount Ryu so a dragon can choose him as a summon. The dragon is hatchling, about the size of a large dog, and is only useful for surveilence purposes at such a young age. When the ninja becomes a chunin usually the dragon is large enough to sit on, however the dragon is not pwerful enough to fly with a person on their back. When the ninja becomes of jounin level this is when the dragons prowess for battle really becomes apparent as he is now able to use his elemental affinty in the way of his breath and he can merge with his human companion to become a dragon humanoid that lasts 10 posts, if left for longer than 10 posts the human form dies inside the dragon and is lost forever, however if the human is able to perfect dragon sage mode then he will be able to merge with dragon for longer depending on chakra levels. When Kage level power is attained the dragon will be fully grown, about the size of a large truck, and is a forced to be reckoned with.

However, once every few generations, a member of the clan will be born with such enormous skill in ninjutsu that their techniques cause there opponents to be evaporated once a certain level of skill has been reached. There fighting style is a mix of ninjutsu and taijutsu that is strongly focused in ninjutsu. There use of genjutsu is not strong and neither is there defense of it, however when they fight side by side with a dragon they are better suited for battling genjutsu users. This closeness to dragons developed early on in the clans history and has been passed down from generation to generation. The clan elders have yearly meetings with the Dragon Elders at Mount Ryu to discuss children of the clan who show potential to become a powerful sage. The clan's history is one that is shrouded in mystery. It is thought that there life force and battle prowess is second only to the Uzumakis and Uchihas respectively. Many outside the clan believe that the Takahashi clan is a descendant of the Uzumakis, due to there strong life force and how some members have red hair, this is a common misconception however, as hair and eye color are caused by elemental affinity. A clansmen's elemental affinity is revealed through the hot springs of Mount Ryu, this is where dragons bathe so they can discover there elemental affinity at birth. The story of how the clan became so close with and how they gained the respect of the dragons is a tightly guarded secret that only clansmen know. They wish to become known as one of the great families of the shinobi world and love that a time of peace has come to prevalence.

What do the dragons look like, would like that described since dragons weren't seen in The anime/manga. Like are they humanoid-esk like the toads and monkey? just let me know what to expect...

The actual dragons are full blown dragons, however there are dragon master who live with them from the Takahashi clan that have perfected dragon sage mode, and they look like dragon humanoids. They live there and train any promising candidates who want to become dragon sages.

Approved. I like the concept, if you do become a sage it will have to count as a jutsu. Also be weary of "god moding" because of the "such enormous skill...opponents to evaporate". I am fine having that in the clans history though

As a draw back i can only activate dragon mode for 10 posts or the dragon takes over my mind

what do you mean dragon mode? like sage mode or is this something you are trying to do at genin level?

no its sage mode and I am no where near capable of that only jounin can train in sage arts in the takahashi clan.

Alright I thought so, just wanted to double check. and we can make that jutsu/sage mode when you get to that rank.
