Kekkai Genkai/Bloodtrait: The Shinbioto Clan can summon shade-like demons to do the bidding of their master, and in certain scenarios, bond with the shade to augment their own abilities. Higher skill level would be required to summon larger or more powerful entities, or summon more than one at a time.  In the case of bonding, the symbiote gets stronger as more chakra is channeled to bring out more of the demon's abilities and features, but like most demons they will attempt to take control of the host permanently for their own benefit. Only those trained to master the bonding techniques may go full demon and stay in control.

Background The Shinbioto Clan has been a part of the Mist village for a long time remaining in the shadows, looking for the right time to ascend into legend.

So I see Shimura approved this, But I am going to say I am going to need more detail on such "demons". Meaning that They will have to remain balanced and this balance must been seen whether though the jutsu slots it takes, Roleplaying capabilities, and/or change in the clan.

But this is approved and you can continue your creation process, just be aware we are keeping eye to making sure you remain balanced. I like the idea though

If you do change the clan for either more detail on the capabilities of the clan be sure to "bump"

I have been creating a list of summons that are unique to my clan, I can post what I have currently. Still a WIP, but should make it clear on what I am going for.

Possible Demons (In order of weakest to strongest) If they have a name, it will be in  parentheses :

Gremlin (Dekobo) - Small demonic goblin like creature with a mind of his own, tampering, mischief, subterfuge, with a strong will to drive

the enemy to madness. (can summon multiple with the correct technique and training).

Bonded: Ears become pointed, teeth sharper with a large smile...Heightened sense of devious unorthodox solutions, improves stealth and

cunning.


Chimera (Abarenth)- A demon most hellish, this demon comes straight out of the pages of lovecraft. The main body is that of some large cat

like animal(leopard size), but no true features can determine what kind, as sharp serrated tipped tendrils flow down it's back forming

a tail that mimics a peacock. The head almost resembles a human face without all the features(ears, hair, nose, eyes), the face would

be almost blank if the lips of the demon didn't curl up over a large set of sharp teeth forming almost a smile accompanied by a

wicked tongue.(Think of Venom)  The demon is quick running on all four but when in combat stands on it's hind legs to use it's claws

to rake and gouge the enemy like a bear. The tendrils will reach out in an attempt to slash and pierce unsuspecting pray too busy

dodging the claws.

Bonded: Arms become the claws of the chimera (Think prototype, sharp and long) while tendrils grow from the back to race out and

reach the opponent, or defend almost autonomously(think Doc Oc)...Improves agility, attack speed, and gains reach...Unsure of

negative trait that comes along with this one as it will be the most common demon my character bonds too.

Bat Demon (Drazul)- Suave and evil. Your classic dracula esk demon (Think of dracula's full form in the movie Van Helsing) -WIP




Grendel- The demon son and harbinger of sin, a 12 ft tall beast that is between werewolf and Sasquatch. This demon is as strange as it is

powerful. Seemingly always talking to itself or inanimate objects, Grendel will wander aimlessly groaning slowly working himself up

into an anxiety ridden panic and then releasing himself into an unprovoked rage, until an unknown force calms him down. (The Mother

hushes the crying child) This will happen periodically unless given an appropriate target, and even then it is an uncertainty on what

he will do to accomplish the task. While very large an imposing, Grendel is surprisingly sneaky and naive, getting close to a target

and studying them as a child would an ant hill. It is an awkward awakening for the ones being watched as they eventually notice the

behemoth staring at them enviously...only then does Grendel release himself upon them as they scatter, scooping them up to be

devoured and screaming as if it was their fault he was killing them. This demon has some real issues...

Bonded:
Grendel provides strength and protection from physical harm to the wielder, yet this demon is difficult to control as the

demon's mental issues will slowly overcome the user's mind, fabricating their own dimentia..we know where that could

lead...Improves strength and Vitality...Rage, Envy...hollering maniacally is a common side effect.



Goat Demon (Baruk)- Basically what you'd expect the devil would look like, man body, large horned goat head, and hooved feet. (Think of a

goatmen shaman from Diablo III)...Baruk carries a bone staff with small trinkets that clink as he moves around, this staff controls the element of

fire and lightning. This character uses these elements interchangeably in combat, but using these elements comes at a price. The demon's will is

extremely strong and cannot easily be commanded to assist in combat. Only when a deal is made will he help, and it won't be one you would normally

agree to...but he will attempt to bend your will using genjutsu to make the deal, you must look past this, as tempting as it is, you must decline.

Offer a sufficient sacrifice (chakra or a life) and a bargain will be made. Without a sufficient sacrifice and he will once again attempt to bend your will...TBD may not do the whole deal thing...definitely needs some work

Creating a new summons list that will keep the same species ruling...As my character creation post says, these demons are called limbo demons, all are similar in features: Humanoid beings, tall and lanky with no eyes, ears, nose, or mouth with the exception of their horrible toothy smiles. I will come back once I hash out the details.

Going with the morphing as they age stuff here are a few ideas I had.

Gremlin:
The child stage, used primarily for grunt work. While not a threat by themselves, when summoned in groups (A feature made possible by the fact that they know no jutsu, and can only use simple attacks), they have a nasty habit of dogpiling enemies and slowing them down.

Gazer:
The intermediate, teen stage, Gazers are not suited for combat because of their proportions. Their short legs mean they resort to walking on their hands, and the length of their arms mean that they can't defend themselves closer than medium range. However they are especially nimble when moving through trees, swinging from plant to plant with their gangly limbs and folding up acrobatically when in the leaves, and their giant eye makes them great spotters. The summoner can give up sight temporarily in one eye to see through the Gazer's eye, and if the gazer is nearby it can put its hands around the user to block simple attacks and weak taijutsu/kenjutsu.

Chimer:
Simply described as nightmarish warhorses. Their mismatched limbs mean that they move slow, but are able to cover great distances with their steps. By using the secondary leg on their crab like limb, the Chimer is capable of supporting itself while stationary to use the larger portion of the leg as a fearsome sawblade while still using their blade arm to impale victims and drag them within range.

Of course you can still merge with them for different abilities.

I'm thinking that for Gremlins when you merge you shrink to their size and become much more agile and additionally are immune to visual genjutsu because you don't have eyes. However the drawbacks are also that you are blind and can only locate others based on body heat (sensed through an organ on the nose).

For the Gazer you are granted near 360 degree vision, but not the byakugan's ability to see through smoke and see chakra, but this comes with the weakness of being vulnerable to visual genjutsu. However the lack of ears and a nose mean that other types of genjutsu virtually have no effect. Your arms also grow, making the scythe unwieldy but replacing the need for it because you can use your hands at a similar range.

For the Chimer your arm is replaced with a large blade that has the same reach as the scythe, and your other arm is replaced with the saw-like claw. You are exceptionally agile in this form, able to dodge taijutsu and kenjutsu along with simple attacks (for as long as the summon and fusion last) that are below the technique's rank. However the fact that your limbs are now weapons means that you can't use ninjutsu that require multiple seals and you also can't use weapons.
