[Quarterfinals] Hiryu Takahashi V.S. Kira Yuki [Complete]

Kira hopes into the ring ready to fight

~The last round was a warm up now's the real show.~

Seeing her opponent is one of her squad mates she waves "you ready"

not giving him a chance to answer she creates an ice clone leaving it behind and rushes towards him casting chilling mist

Kira creates a clone and one of the girls rush him.

As the girl starts sprinting towards, he feels the air around him get cold as the temperature drops rapidly.

"Well this sucks, it should be much warmer", Hiryu says to himself. He begins to feel somewhat sluggish.

Hiryu creates an Ember Clone and sends it towards her, hoping to release it causing a small fiery explosion to distract her.

Kira notices the boy making a clone and decides it's better not to risk it so she uses Ice launch his ember clone hits the Ice stalagmite and then explodes sending shards of ice everywhere. Kira pulls out a kunai blocks the shards that came up towards her.

the clone begins to move dodging ice shards and getting closer to Hiryu.

Hiryu jumps back a little to get out of range of the ice shards.

He still feels sluggish and throws 2 shuriken towards the girl in the air and prepares himself for the girl advancing towards him on the ground.

Kira throws the kunai she is holding plus a shuriken to block his incoming projectiles and upon landing near him she uses Flying Ice Needles of Death Having her Ice clone jump up over her to attempt to block the escape route.

Hiryu feels the temperature return to normal and starts to feel reinvigorated for the battle. Kira form the air deflects his shuriken and lands in front of him. Hiryu creates an ember clone as she lands.

The Kira that was in the air begins to weave hand signs and ice needles surround him, they begin moving towards him, he watches from he corner of his eye as the Kira that had been running towards him on the ground jumps up to try and cover his only means of escape he can guess.

Hiryu jumps up onto his clones shoulders and just as the needles near he use Flameproof technique and releases his clone to cause a small explosion and launch himself into the air above the Kira trying to block him and out of harm's way. He then attempts to kick the kira that was jumping to block his escape.

Right before the kick would have hit The clone melts becoming a puddle and falls to the ground.

"nice job getting out of that"

Kira pulls out her last kunai and backs off from her opponent

~I'm beginning to fell a little worn out. I'll let him make the next move~

"Come on, show me what you got"

Hiryu's side starts to hurt as he places his hand over wear he was wounded in his previous battle.

He uses Flame Spread Technique, on 4 shuriken and throws 2 at her, waits to see how she reacts to those and throws the next 2 to wear she dodges. He then will follow those up and start moving towards her.

Kira sees two Shuriken fly towards her and throws Shuriken two of her own to block them.

she then starts to move to the side where he grabbed his side just as she started to move he threw the other two shuriken he was holding, and began running towards her she uses Ice launch to get into the air and dodge the two flaming shuriken.

Kira jumps up in the air again, "Now I got you", Hiryu thinks to himself.

He attaches 2 explosive tags to 2 kunai and throws them at Kira, he then sets them off just before they reach her in the air.

He prepares himself for her next move.

Once Kira is in the air Hiryu throws kunai just as they are about half way between the two of them she throws out The kunai she's been holding and a shuriken to block them creating a huge blind spot in between the two genin because of the two explosive tags he had attached

Kira creates an Ice Clone then sticks two explosive tags to her back and kicks off its feet sending flying down through the smoke right for an attack while propelling herself higher into the air.

Kira throws a kunai and shuriken to deflect the 2 kunai.

The explosion goes off and through the smoke, Kira flies straight towards him, just as she is about to land on him he uses a substitution jutsu to get away from her. He lands on the other side of the smoke to get away from her sight, when he looks up and sees another kira in the air.

Just as he looks up an explosion goes off where he had just come from.

Hiryu heads to where he thinks Kira will land and uses Kaiseiken so he hit her when she finally comes down.

As Kira visualizes the explosion go off she smirks confidently as she descends back toward the ground. Her foe swiftly closes in on the approximate location she will land, prepared to finish her off. Kira doesn't have enough time to react properly when she notices Hiryu from behind. He closes his jutsu into a fist before punching his teammate in the back of the head successfully knocking her unconscious. The referee steps forward, "The match is over, winner is Hiryu Takahashi!"
