Meeting of the Sharingans [Complete]

It was early in the morning, just before dawn. The moon had went to bed, although the sun has yet to awaken and fully illuminate the area, as well as provide its warmth. Which in turn made the place seem cooler than normal.The area was near the training grounds and filled with trees that were spaced out. The area was consumed with an eerie fog or mist, and hence the name of the mist village.

Kotetsu was wondering about the forest, adorning his usual outfit of a samurai, as well as having his sword at his left side and his Ninja to tucked into his sash. It was early in the morning, to be in his thoughts. Reason being was that recently he was assigned to an unfinished team, whose teacher or sensei is supposedly rumored to be in possession of a Sharingan. He did not know if the rumors were true or not, but he did know, that in someway, it affected him. Although, at this point in time, he couldn't determine if it would have a positive or negative effect on him. Seeing as he hasn't seen anyone else with the Sharingan since the day he lost his parents. His mind swiftly shifted off the topic of his parents as it turned back to his new sensei. I could learn from him. His words echoed in his head, Not just in jutsu but maybe even my Sharingan. Kotetsu's thoughts quickly switched gears, If the rumors are true, then how did he get it? Did he kill an Uchiha? At the notion of this, Kotetsu's rage flickered. He couldn't shake the thought of a fellow Clan member being killed or having their eye stolen, even if not knowing them. Reason being was that he couldn't help but picture people he used to know being in the same position.

Kumonu was out in the forest for his morning exercise. He was wearing his usual outfit of a black longsleeve sweater and black jogging pants, the only indication he was actually a shinobi of the mist was the black gloves he wore which both had a metal protector with the symbol of the mist etched onto them. His exercise entailed traveling through the forest from tree shadow to tree shadow using his Kagenohebi technique. His eye ached, a feeling that he'd almost forgotten in the short time since he last fought an Uchiha. Whenever he approached one the slight difference in ambient chakra was enough to sting his implant. Sure enough when he removed his eyepatch and exposed his eye to the air, he could see the distant chakra aura of the shinobi. Of course it was fairly obvious to him who it must be, every jonin in the village knew about the Uchiha who passed the academy.

Slinking from shadow to shadow until he stepped into the shadow of the genin he was technically in charge of. From beneath Kotetsu he opened his eyes, peering out of the shadow he was one with.

Upon walking a little further, Kotetsu couldn't help but to grow suspicous. He felt as if he was being watched, which made him stop in his tracks. As he stood there, the young shinobi, quickly glanced around the area. When he didn't see anything out of the ordinary, Kotetsu began to walk again. Although, it wasn't but a few yards later that the boy stopped again, because he couldn't shake the feeling that someone was spying on or watching over him. His response this time was to activate his Sharingan Double Tomoe and swiftly scanned the surrounding area. Even with the sharingan, his efforts were for naught. Being as he was unsuccesful in locating a chakara signature in the area. He knew that letting your guard down in the Bloody Mist, could be the last mistake you made. So he figured it was better to be safe than sorry, though he failed to look down at his feet at his own shadow. Once, almost certain no one was around did Kotetsu deactivate the Sharingan and continued his walk.

When Kotetsu let down his guard and began walking again, Kumonu reached out of the shadows and grappled his ankles. "You know, there's an old saying about how you need to jump over your own shadow to learn something you won't forget for the rest of your life. But it's easier if I just make sure you won't have a life long enough to forget it Kotetsu." At first this voice seemingly came from nowhere, until the man who grabbed Kotetsu by the ankles began to emerge from his own shadow. It was very probable that this person was his own sensei, or else some other hidden mist ninja who coincidentally had a Sharingan implanted in his right eye.

After being grabbed and hearing the voice, Kotetsu's mind was racing. His first and main thought was to create space between the two, since at the time being he didn't know who it was. To do so, the young genin used his left hand to push down on the hilt of his sword, and aimed it at the ground. In return the scabbard pointed toward the sky. Once in position, he pushed the button on his dual sliding sword. It caused the blade to glide through the hilt and surface from the other side. The blade would either impale the attackers wrist or cause him to let go, which was the most logical answer.

After doing so, Kotetsu spun around to face his opposition. "Who are.." His words stopped short when noticing the single tomoe Sharingan in the mans right eye. Subconsciously he recognized this to be his sensei, although his emotions took over. Seeing the Sharingan in the possession of a non-uchiha for some reason infuriated him. What gives you the right to carry the eye of the Uchiha?!" The young one barked at his sensei.

Kumonu let go of the child's ankles, opting to not get stabbed today. When the shadow he was inside of started to move he faded out of it, now standing plainly visible in the mist. "I think I earned them when my gang killed these Uchiha outside of the mist. Time of war and everything, you know. I think their kid survived, but I doubt he lasted long in the real world." It was a blatant lie only meant to goad the kid on. Due to his inability to turn off the implanted Three Tomoe Sharingan, he attempted to trap the kid in his visual genjutsu. He formed a half-Tiger seal as he focused his chakra into his eye for Kokuangyo no Jutsu.

Kotetsu couldn't help but to be flooded with the sense of hatred at the moment, seeing as his sensei taunted casually murdering his clansman. Being as the subject was over the eye, the genin was staring into the Sharingan when the jutsu was initiated. So inevitably, the young shinobi was subjected to the high ranking genjutsu cast upon him. As the world around him grew pitch black, he attempted to remain calm. His thoughts once again began to race at the cause of this, It is known the Nara  Clan's kekkei genkai incorporates shadow. His eyes relentlessly scanning the area surrounding him, yet to no prevail. Maybe this could be a technique from their arsenal. Kotetsu believed that his sensei was somehow bending the shadows to his will through ninjutsu, so in response he once again activated his Sharingan Double Tomoe to see if his suspicions were true. Even as he looked through the all seeing eyes of the Uchiha he was unable to see a thing, as if pitch black. At the moment he still can't realize it is a genjutsu, but instead weaves a set of handsigns and blindlessly spewed his Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet in front of him. He is currently unable to fully concentrate his complete and collective thoughts as his mind is clouded with the two basic emotions of Pride and Wrath.

Seeing the blind genin begin to form handsigns, the Nara sidestepped quietly through the grass to avoid the inevitable attack. "It's useless to attempt to escape, Uchiha. As we speak my shadows have you blinded, and are slowly extracting your eyes. Even your hatred is not a hot enough flame to melt through my Sekaikage technique." For all of his dramatic and theatrical villainous speech his technique was nothing more than rendering his opponent blind and then trapping them with a web of shadows. He walked towards Kotetsu, flicking his forehead protector.

Upon his sensei flicking his forehead, the genjutsu seemed to deteriorate and fade away, and instinctively he leaped backwards sever yards. The world now resumed it's original site and color. Even while no longer under the genjutsu, Shio's words seem to get under his skin, yet this time affecting him differently. Instead of his emotions taking control, Kotetsu seemed as if he was emotionless or at least more in control.  "How dare you speak so lightly of the Uchiha." His voice rang through the quiet morning as his tone was completly serious. As he gazed upon his sensei, the young shinobi's eyes radiated with pure malice.  "You, yourself are not worthy of such a blessing but rather just its curse."

Kotetsu now raising his left hand up, level with his chest, points the tip of his dual sliding sword in the direction of the left side of Kumonu's chest. He stood there patiently waiting for the right time to lung forward and strike. Also at the same time, he attempts to keep his right hand hidden at his side. Being as he can swiftly draw his ninjato or Ninja tools, as well as hopefully unseen if needed.

(OOC-i didn't mention this in his appearance but he wears his headband loosely around the neck.)

Kumonu flicked his hands, chains with weighted ends sliding out of his long sleeves. He swung his arms downwards to rapidly bring both Kusari-fundo towards his pupil, one aimed for his right hand while the other was swung towards his dual-sliding-sword. The speed with which he swung the chains was merely to hide his true intent, as the hexagonal weights had hidden upon them a flash tag. Wherever the fundo hit, be it dirt or a tree, it would instantly release a bright flash. Kumonu planned to use this to initiate a shadow-grab.

The young genin had his mind cleared of the thoughts that previously clouded his general acumen. Doing so didn't necessarily mean he wasn't angry over the situation, just that he pinpointed his focus and rage into the basic emotion of sheer wrath. As Kotetsu watched his sensei reveal the weapon and attack. His eyes were able to keep up with the movements, although he was unaware of the flash tags on the fundo. His body also seemed barely able to react to the simple yet swift attack, seeing as he was just a genin compared to the jonin. Some could say he was lucky, although others say it could be from his complete focus and concentration at the time.

As the two fundo whipped in his direction, Kotetsu pressed the button on his Ryū No Shippo's hilt. Which in turn caused the blade to skim through the handle, but this time, locking in the middle position. Doing so caused the weapon to technically have two blades, one on each side. In response to the attack, the young shinobi parried the one aimed at his hand, causing it to deflect into a nearby tree. While the other wrapped around one end of his weapon. Almost the the instant it did so, he began to twirl his weapon in a figure eight pattern to swiftly tighten the slack and lock the chains around the weapon. Although he was still oblivious to the flash tags, located on the fundo. Which as a result they succeeded in temporarily blinding him, as well as setting the stage for Kumonu's shadow based jutsu.

Using the opportunity provided by the bright flash, Kumonu swiftly used his Kagenohebi technique to leave the scene. Sure he sacrificed one of the weighted chains, not wasting time to unwrap it from the sword it was tangled on, but most importantly he properly riled up his student. That was a win in his books. He returned to the village for some Oden.

As quick as the man appeared, so did he swiftly vanish. Upon regaining his eyesight, and noticing Kumonu retreat from the area, Kotetsu deactivated his Double Tomoe Sharingan. the boy then removed the chains from his weapon. He did so by pressing the button, which allowed the blade to slide completely to one side, thus removing the chains from said end of the blade. The young genin did this once again for the other side, causing the strudy Kusari-Fundo to plummet to the ground with a thud. After sheathing his sword, Kotetsu bent over and picked up the weapon left behind by his sensei. His thoughts now fixated on the mysterious man, He will learn to respect the Uchiha. His mind made up, since he knew that very soon, he would officially meet his team as well as come face to face with Kumonu again, the boy posotioned the Kusari-Fundo in his waistband before also leaving.
