Team 12 Meeting [Complete]

It's late in the day, granted you could mistake it for night with how dreary the weather always is near your village. Your sensei called you together for a team meeting out in the middle of a rice field. When you arrive he is sitting on a small cushion with an equally tiny table set up with a teapot and a single clay cup he drinks from. He is a middle aged man with long black hair held in a ponytail, wearing slimming black robes with red lining. On either side of his waist are sheaths for two distinctive twin blades.

Nell was already ready for the genin lifestyle, she was on her way too the meeting point wearing black ninja pants a matching black shirt and a belt headband tied around her waist in order too hold her two swords. She was excited too meet her squad even though she knew a little about even her sensei she was ready as she entered the rice field she would quickly spot her sensei or that was who she assumed he was, she would walk over toward him looking over the tea and his swords before bowing.

"Nell Ookami, Sir."

Hikaru has been anticipating this day since he graduated he was finally a full fledge ninja. getting ready and rushing out with his puppet lex walking by his side "Hey Lex I am a ninja Can't wait to meet my team and sensei" he told his puppet as he walked to the rice field.

Upon entering the field he heard Nell and walked over beside her

"Hikaru and Lex Shirogane, reporting"

Kenji makes his way ready to meet his new team.

~I wonder what they will be like~ He thinks to himself as he confidently makes his way there.

~I'm ready to show the Mist Village what the Hana Clan is capable of...and bring honor to my family~

He pours himself another cup of tea. "Hello team. Your first mission is a simple one."

He takes off his headband and puts it in a pocket on his flak jacket. "The one of you who kills me will receive the rank of Jonin, and the other two will be sent back to repeat the academy."

Nell would take a moment too think, this was most likely a test so she would have too give it her all and go at him with the intent too kill, there was no way she was going back too the academy. She would start big and activate her KKG Vampirism her eye's turning red and her canines growing chakra causing them too look like fangs. Following that Nell would take two steps back pulling out her swords and then placing them together to make one. She needed the free hand in order too pull out the shuriken she was now pulling out using her current speed boost she would throw four at her sensei.

He flipped the table into the air with his foot, blocking all of the shuriken and catching his cup and tea kettle. He took a sip from his cup and poured more tea into the clay container to refill it. "I suppose you'd like to know the name of the person you're trying to kill. I'm Yuu Iburi."

Kenji laughed to himself upon hearing this ~It's obviously a test, he knows there isn't any chance in hell that Genin could land even a scratch on him...~

~I'll have to attack him with intent to kill if he wants to test our capability~

Kenji clasps his hands together, "Rose Whip!" He conjures a long vine whip with thorns.

His sensei appears to have his hands full. Kenji see's his opening and attempts to whip his sensei around the neck.

When the whip looked like it hit him, Yuu seemingly evaporated into a cloud of red smoke with the tea kettle and the cup floating within the haze.

The smoke split into two, one half holding the kettle and the other holding the cup, and went around Kenji on either side before reuniting and solidifying back into Yuu.

Hikaru Had feeling of shock at his first test to kill his sensei, But not he wasn't surprised this is the blood mist village after all. He took a quick look around while his teammates attacked "you ready big bro now's our chance"

He pulls out a kunai and charges at yuu.

Yuu calmly places his tea cup atop Kenji's head. He fills it to the brim and then swats Hikaru's arm, directing him towards a tree in a single fluid motion.

Nell would watch for a moment, before coursing chakra through her blade using her Flame Sword Technque, Once Yuu placed the teacup upon Kenji's head nell would dash forward using her Vanishing Slash coursing chakra through her feet in order too start forming mirages in a attempt too confuse Yuu as he surrounded him.

She would would wait for a opening then swing on hopefully Yuu's back.

Yuu grabbed his teacup, taking a sip as he pushed his sheath upwards in an arc with his elbow. He stopped the incoming assault by simply holding Nell back by the forehead.

Kenji is slighty irritated at the notion of his sensei placing a cup of tea on his head. The mere fact that he did it signified he had the opportunity to kill him had he wanted. ~He is disgracing me~

For a moment Kenji took note that his teammate decided to use a fire sword. She begins circling around them creating mirages. Going against his regular instincts of putting up a petal barrier he plotted. Knowing that she would go for a strike at his open back, Kenji creates a clone to help further distract.

Distracted and with his hands full the clone attempts to grapple the sensei around the waist. Kenji will use his vine whip to slash at the tea cup to spite his sensei.

Yuu sipped his tea, lightning circled his foot. With an upward kick he sliced through both the clone and the whip. "I believe that's far enough now, you all failed to kill me with any meaningful intent."

" I am not going back to the academy!"
Hikaru uses Puppet Substitution And brings Lex to the position where he was and goes to nearby tree to maintain his line of sight and then has Lex flip both his Senbon blades out and attack Yuu.

Yuu flickers out of sight, dashing past the puppet and leaving a stream of electricity in his wake. The shocking chakra temporarily disrupts Hikaru's control of Lex.

~Maybe if I can slow him down we may just have a chance!~

Kenji throws 2 shuriken for distraction as he takes out a seed from his pocket and forms a half tiger seal. It blossoms into a rose dart, which Kenji throws at his sensei after reappearing from the flicker.

Yuu tossed his tea kettle into the air, unsheathing one of his swords. From the moment the first portion of the blade was exposed to the air it crackled with unearthly electricity. He pointed it at his students, shooting the shuriken and dart with a bolt of lightning that reduced the metal to ash and the flower to smoke. "I thought that I said.."

He jabbed the sword into the moist dirt, channeling electricity through the rows of water in the rice field and forming cages of lightning around his students. "Enough is enough." To punctuate his point he caught his tea kettle as it started to fall.

Nell would stand still after being pushed back by their sensei, her form dying down she would let out a small sigh, he said they were done. And none of them impressed their sensei even though she never expected too win she thought maybe they would get something going if they worked together. As Nell was thinking her teammates continued their attack, nell would just watch until it was all finished and the lighting was spread through the rice field.

The cage caught her by surprise, but she would just stand there looking at everyone. She had nothing too say at the moment, simply putting her blades together and then away.

Yuu pulled his sword out of the earth, cleaning it off with a theatrical twirl of the blade. "All of you failed to kill me. Disappointing." He sighed and poured his tea out. "Couldn't even make me spill this awful tea."

"Hopefully you all at least learned each other's strengths, in the event you need to kill one of your teammates.. Or protect them I suppose." With a shrug he turned to walk back to the village.
